Joburg to Durban Run
24, 25 & 26th September 2004
We met at Vaal Star Stop (Villiers) for breakfast, departing 9.30am. Riding under clear skies on the N3 we stopped for petrol at Monte Vista Star Stop (Harrismith), Estcourt Ultra City, where it became cloudy, and on to Cato One Stop. After Mariannhill we took the N2 highway heading north, turning off at Umdloti and then to the La Mercy Beach Hotel, where we were be met by the most welcoming people on the East Coast, Ronnie Govender, Annie, Frazana, Evon, Sunil and the La Mercy Beach Hotel staff.
