12th Annual

JOBURG to DURBAN RUN 2006

some of the guys at Estcourt Ultra City...

Friday the 28th we met at Vaal Star Stop (Villiers) for breakfast. Departing 9.30am, we rode on the alternate route (as we were told the fuzz were having a big road-block on the N3), stopping for petrol at Monte Vista Star Stop, Estcourt Ultra City and Cato One Stop. We re-grouped on the other side of Mariannhill toll plaza and took the N2 highway towards Stanger, turning off  to the La Mercy Beach Hotel. We arrived there at 2.30 pm, which was excellent time, and decided to ride to Thirsty's for a quick chow and dop, and had a gander at some ships arriving in Durban.
